I am a improvisational piano player and experiment with jazz, country, and world music styles. I also play popular music that moves me and through which I can pour my heart out into the "world". I have learned to play through all twelve keys within a rather orderly modulation process using the circle of fifths, and I'm very pleased with the results and wish to share with other musicians and with the piano-music-appreciating public. My goal is to find and express beauty way out beyond ego. I am somewhat successful in this. My favorite musicians are Bach, Keith Jarrett and Carlos Jobim. If they are "tens" on a scale of one to ten then hopefully I'm a three or a four. I'm sensing that I'm just beginning. I'm feeling a transpersonal creative force starting to move through. This is a group consciousness thing. I'd like to start playing in the Long Beach, California area, but I'm willing to travel a bit, if to an appreciative audience. I would prefer a Beat, Zen Buddhist type of atmosphere, but part of what I do is respect and link the senuous jazz of the earthly chakras with the heavenly serealism of the abstract group consciousness chakras(at least I aspire to do so). I would really like to communicate with musicians interested in esoteric philosophy and esoteric healing and who would like to struggle along side me to help lift the spirits of humanity. I have studied earnestly for twenty-five years. I see consciousness as primary and self-existant, not produced by the brain but received by the brain, and therefore have awakened to the greatness of the artistic community and the mathematicians seeking the beauty within all our hearts. (Most think that mathematics and music are metaphors for the physical world, but the reverse is true. The physical world is metaphor for mathematics and music). "Life imitates Art." I wish to be included within the artistic community and start to do my part.
