Hi!
No, you're not too old. But the way most adults learn is a little different than kids. I would suggest getting a book focused on adult beginning lessons. Bastien makes an ok one called "The Older Beginner".
Difference in books for adults is that they usually work on simple chording in the left hand. That way you can begin to play songs right away. It's difficult for most people to read the left hand.
Good luck!

Dude, your seriously from Iran ? Really, I didn't realize Tehran was so westernized as to have ISP's on their telephone system. I thought they(you) were still on rotary dialing. How does that work ?
Anyway - the admin is right - the key is making your southpaw ( lefthand ) carry a rythm. Unlike other one note, one chord instruments. I recommend Hungarian Dances no.5 to start - easy left hand motion to learn with , PLUS when-played properly-it's an emotional, moving song that makes people dance and girls swoon. |
